Perigord Group Achieve Major Business Win with Microsoft

Palo Alto, Calif. – March 14, 2006 – Perigord Premedia, a Localisation & Premedia group based in Dublin and Connecticut (USA), today announced that they will work on the global packaging and localization for the next wave of Microsoft product releases

Perigord Premedia, a member of the Perigord Group, is Ireland's largest pre-media company. This year Perigord will treble their turnover with Microsoft and the additional Microsoft business will result initially in creating 12 new jobs at its Dublin plant. Perigord will localize various packaging pieces into over 30 different languages for the EMEA markets and will work on localized packaging for the Office 12, XBox and a range of PC Games titles. As a result of this business win, Perigord will embark on a major sales and marketing drive utilizing this model targeting the U.S. computer games market.

The partnership was announced by Irish Prime Minister, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern T.D. at the San Jose/Dublin Sister City’s Spirit of Ireland Dinner.
